My Revlon Lips

Hey Everyone! :)
So today I want to tell you all about 2 of my favorite lip products. Since I'm usually just going to to class or something I like to have a good lip color that's pretty, but not too in-your-face. The 2 colors I wear the most are both from Revlon. They are the Super Lustrous Creme Lipstick in Primrose (number 668) and the new Lip Butter in Sweet Tart (number 090).
I just got the Lip Butter a few months ago and I love it! It's such a pretty bluey pink color. It is really bright and kind of barbie-esque. So when you want a bright lip that's great. And I have a trick for when you just want to add a little bit of color to your lips, but still look natural.  Here's what I do pretty much everyday before I head off to class: first, I put on some chapstick (I use EOS in Sweet Mint) and let that sit while I do the rest of my makeup. If I don't let it sit (like if I already have my makeup on and just want to add some color) I just rub the chapstick into my lips a bit using a finger. Then, I take my finger and rub it on the Lip Butter and get some color on my finger. Then, I use that finger to rub the color onto my lips. I do that once or twice to get the color I want. Then, if my lips are dry, I add some more chapstick on top. That gives me a really nice, naturally pink color to my lips.
Now, this is the only Lip Butter I own, but I would love to get some more. The color is really nice, they are super moisturizing and shiny. I LOVE this, the only thing is I wish it lasted a little longer, but still it's an amazing product and I would definitely buy it again. Plus, they have so many colors!!
I've had Primrose (the lipstick) for about twice as long as I've had the Lip Butter, and I love this color! Its a light pinky color that's great as a neutral lip! I also sometimes add a bit of Vaseline or chapstick on top if I want to add some shine. My sister who is a good bit tanner than I am (I'm pretty darn pale! ha ha) also owns this color and it looks beautiful on her too! The lipstick is really great. It gives a great color, stays on well, and feels good on my lips.
Neither of these products are too expensive. I bought my Lip Butter from Target, and that's the lowest price I found ($6.49 each).  I bought my Lipstick at Walmart, but the lowest price I found was at CVS ($7.99 each)
Hopefully this leads you to more beautiful lips!! :)

Sonia Kashuk Nailpolishes

Hey!!

So now I wanna talk about nail polish! I love having my nails painted. I just don't feel like myself with bare nails. But, I hate paying a ton for nailpolish. I have never, to this day, bought a bottle of Essie nailpolish (although I've been meaning to try it because I hear it's really nice) because I just cannot bring myself to pay $8 a bottle.  Especially since when I buy nailpolish I can help but buy a couple at a time! ha ha ha! So I wanted to tell you all about a fairly inexpensive (less than $5 a bottle) nailpolish that I've had for a while now, and every time I put it on, I love it. It's the Sonia Kashuk Nail Color. I have them in the colors Blank Slate and Fatigue. They look like this:

This is Blank Slate. It's a super pretty blue-grey color! I'm wearing it right now and I keep staring at my nails!  And this color is Fatigued. Its a very pretty olive green color.
Note: these are not my hands. ha ha my nails aren't that pretty!

These nailpolishes look so pretty one & they apply really nicely too. I did notice that Blank Slate was a bit streaky after the first coat, but the second coat covered it up completely without even trying! And they stay on great!! I always chip my nails because I do so much stuff (and don't take my carefully applied nailpolish into consideration) but this has the best staying power of any of my nailpolishes. Just apply a clear topcoat & you're good to go! And, another plus is that it dries extremely fast so you don't have to sit around for an hour while you wait for the polish to dry. ha ha ha! The only thing is that I wish I had some of the brighter colors so I could wear them during the spring and summer. The colors I have a very wintery. I can't wait to go to Target and get some more of these polishes. (Sonia Kashuk is sold exclusively at Target)

So- want to get yourself one of these gorgeous nail colors?? Click here!

Tell me what you think in the comments below! What's your favorite nailpolish?? Any tricks I should know for applying?? Tell me your secrets! Comment!!
